First-years start their ‘Penn odyssey’
Penn’s 287th academic year formally kicked off with Convocation, where Penn President J. Larry Jameson declared the start of the Class of 2030’s ‘Penn odyssey.’
An inviting welcome on Move-In day
The majority of first-year students begin their Penn journey with the annual Move-In ritual, which runs like clockwork thanks to Move-In volunteers and staff and eases the transition for first-year students leaving the nest and kicking off their lives as undergraduates.
