Sheerr Pool Dedication

President J. Larry Jameson joined Penn Athletics leadership, donors, and members of the swimming and diving community to celebrate the grand opening of the renovated Sheerr Pool and the newly dedicated George T. Breen Varsity Swimming Complex. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured remarks from Alanna Wren, T. Gibbs Kane, Jr. W’69 Director of Athletics and Recreation; Mike Schnur, Lou and Rene Kozloff Head Coach of Swimming; and lead donor Ethan Lerner, MD, PhD, C’76. The event recognized the generosity of alumni and partners whose support made possible significant upgrades to the facility’s safety, accessibility, and functionality.
