James Joo-Jin Kim Center for Korean Studies Dedication

J. Larry Jameson, Interim President, and Jeff Kallberg, Associate Dean, SAS, participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the James Joo-Jin Kim Center for Korean Studies. Honored at the ceremony for his legacy of support was James Joo-Jin Kim, W’59, G’61, GR’63, PAR’92, Trustee Emeritus, and his wife Agnes Chung-Sook Kim, PAR’92. They were joined by their daughter Susan Y. Kim, and granddaughter Alexandra Kim Panichello Hayes, SPP’16, along with Kim Center leadership, faculty, student fellows, and other close family and friends. Long-time volunteers Ken Yun, C’77, PAR’08, and Myoung-Woo Lee, WG’94, PAR’04, President, Penn Club of Korea, traveled from Seoul to join in the festivities and demonstrate the strength and support of the Penn Community in Korea.
